Committees of the DGOU
The members of the German Society for Orthopaedics and Trauma (DGOU) work together on various committees.
The 25 sections of the DGOU aim to further develop the individual areas of orthopaedics and trauma surgery.
The 8 DGOU working groups deal with special scientific questions in the field of orthopaedics and trauma surgery.
The 3 DGOU committees serve to advise the Board of Directors on special matters of the specialist society. They make recommendations and prepare decisions made by the Executive Board.
The Young Forum O&U is the joint junior organisation of the DGOU and the BVOU. It represents the interests of medical students and young doctors in the field of orthopaedics and trauma surgery.
The DGOU’s Mid-level Forum O&U represents non- and partially self-employed doctors.
The International Affairs division coordinates the extensive contacts and activities of the DGOU with, and to, other national and international professional societies and associations.
